We used to have the occasional mouse in our home. Until the cat arrived. One night she tortured a single mouse for literally hours. She had it trapped under the couch and eventually we cornered it, caught it, and brought it outside to die with dignity. Haven't seen a mouse since. Maybe he told his friends. 😼
Our cat has also started meowing both before and after we feed her with the same intensity. We assume the first round is a "yo! feed me, idiot humans!" meowing, and the second is "heeeyyyy. thanks for the food, you guys! See you at 4am!" type.
My two girls refuse to kill the bugs that get into the house. They corner said bug, then have me kill it😹However, they seem to have no qualms about murdering a mouse toy just to take out the squeaker🙃
My friend had a cat that he woke up to once with its paws on his neck. This same cat took razor blades from the bathroom and put them in my friend's shoe.
I've read somewhere once that if housecats were bigger they'd definitely kill us, and I believe it!
I have to say that I have a dog, and my sister and mum have two cats each, so I've seen cats at home for a long time. They like catching things yes and I remember once that one of my mums' cats took her a little bird..., thanks God the bird was alive and my mother let him go... Another time the other cat had a little fight with a mice in our garden, in the end the mice could scape... But apart from that, now that we live in the city, the only chances of hunting are with flies 😅 and I've to say that they seem to have a lot of fun with that and that it's also funny to watch it 😉
The only problem I find is that the cat on his way to catch something will run without control all over the place, and sometimes that has a result of broken things behind him 🤣
For Egyptians cats were sacred and in the middle ages they were considered as magic beings, and nowadays they still have a bit of both 😉

It's about a philosophical cat who observe and judge us humans. It is funny, sarcastic, silly, and deep all at once. 😀
One of our cats growls like a dog at people who come to the door. Sometimes it’s the only way I know someone is there. We call him the guard cat. My husband tells him he’s in charge whenever we leave together.
Guard cat caught a mouse once. He didn’t kill it; he bounded with great pride into the room I was in holding it in his mouth. “Look what I did, ma!” He let it go and it ran back through the same hole it came in, which my husband promptly plugged up the next day. We haven’t had any torture victims since.
